‘Vertigo’ Rosso I.G.T.

Composed of 100% estate grown grapes.  Rich, soft notes of red and dark berries, black currant and vanilla entice with an inspiring elegance and persistence through a smooth, supple  finish.

GRAPES: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon

VINIFICATION: Grapes are carefully destemmed and then crushed. Fermentation is carried out with maceration on the skins at controlled temperatures in stainless steel. The juice is pumped over frequently for about three weeks, to extract color and aroma from the skins.

AGING: The wine matures for twelve months in stainless steel and small French oak barrels. After bottling, the wine rests for a minimum of four months.

COLOR: Intense ruby red with purple hues

AROMA: Intense, fruit-forward with aromas of black cherry, currant and blueberries integrated with sweet spice and anise.

PALATE: Full-bodied, elegant and well-structured with well-integrated sweet tannins balanced with flavors of ripe red berry and black berry fruit.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS:  A versatile food partner, this wine pairs nicely with savory pasta or rice dishes, grilled or stewed meats and moderately-mature cheeses.
